A Storm in a Teacup

The weather forecasters predicted this huge storm last night that was going to cause massive disruption today and travel chaos. They were warning people not to travel or at least stagger their journeys into work.

Instead of believing in them, I affirmed what I believe to be true that there is only One Presence and that Presence is in complete control. I trust in the Presence. I was then feeling peaceful.

When I woke up this morning around 7 am, it was very windy. I thought to myself that if it's too much I'll simply stay at home. I went back to bed. When I woke up an hour and a half later, the winds had calmed down. I then got dressed.

On the way to the bus stop, I saw a friend I'd been thinking of walking her kids to the childminder. It was the perfect opportunity to catch up.

The bus I travelled in was packed full considering it was later than usual, which was an indication that people had staggered their journeys. I noticed a few trees down.

All in all, it was nothing like the drama mongers had been expecting. It turned out to be a storm in a teacup.
