A while back, when I noticed this woman walking her dog in the neighbourhood, I stopped to pat her dog and chat to her. She told me her dog was very old and could now only walk at a slower pace.
After that, every time I saw my friend and her dog, I would stop and have a chat. I always found her so pleasant. I also loved her Irish accent. She always blessed me when we parted company.
As time went on, my friend's dog passed away. I was sad for her loss. She said the kids in her neighbourhood also missed her dog as they used to love playing with him.
On the way home, I saw my friend. I asked her how she was. She said she missed her dog as she'd had him for 17 years. She said she was now too old to get another dog.
My friend asked me if I still walk home through the park and I said I still do but I had travelled home by bus. She said when we had the recent storms, she was thinking of me. She said she's also been praying for my safety as I walk through the park.
It's good to know I have an angel looking out for me.
I love my guardian angel.
